“In September 2021 I was diagnosed with breast cancer which lead to having a mastectomy before starting my treatment. The nipple could not be saved as the cancer was there to. I was classed as high risk for a recurrence so in September 2023 I had the other breast removed along with the nipple. I didn’t think having no areola would bother me but as time went on I was starting to hate what I seen in the mirror. I would hate looking down in the shower and seeing breasts that looked different to how they should. I spent another year looking into areola tattoos I was so scared of it not looking how I wanted it to and feeling more ashamed of how my body looked. I can now say I don’t dread looking in the mirror anymore thanks to Jacqueline. Her professionalism, attention to detail and knowledge is amazing. She put me at ease with the first message she sent me. She took interest in what I had been through and most importantly listened to how I wanted the finish result to look. I am so happy with how both nipples have turned out.
